The complexities of managed care are still being discovered in Nigeria and not very well understood by the end users. 

We discovered through our activities in the HMO sector that the services provided are not equitable to the expenditure of our clients, as such HIGC strives to ensure our clients get value for their money and increased returns on their health investments.

We do this by developing bespoke plans for our clients, selecting suitable HMOs based on our periodic HMO audit data, negotiating competitive and realistic premiums, scrutinizing the health care providers on the HMO network through our HCP network audit.

We also make necessary recommendations   that would positively impact the performance of our client’s existing HMOs and HCPs. We ensure the close monitoring and evaluation of utilization including the real loss ratio and disease indices in order to initiate preventive measures and reduce the incidence of annual premium increase.

Finally, we monitor HMO performance closely by working with the HR team of your organization to analyze your HMO and HCP’s KPI. This in turn reduces the burden on your HR/Admin staff and allows them to focus more on being productive in other assignments.
